All things marketing has been an extremely intimidating space for us for many years. It seems like such a monster with so many different areas that you must be an expert in. You feel like you are kicking goals in one area, then the goal posts move (e.g. Google algorithm change, Facebook ads cost per click increasing dramatically, Instagram stories not converting etc) – it’s such a fluid space and something I personally find really difficult to understand and stay on top of. As a small business owner, it’s hard making the call to spend money on marketing – as you are trying to manage and grow the business with the least amount of outgoings as possible.
